David C. Cooke Series – Ken Hess
The David C. Cook series is an ongoing, comprehensive study series with challenging group discussion on many biblical and culturally relevant topics. Come and share in this discussion based study group.
1st Corinthians- Paul Davis
1st Corinthians is much more than just “the love chapter”… What happens when culture collides with Christian faith? What if allegiances cause division in the Body of Christ? How does a diverse group of people learn to work together in one Spirit? The Apostle Paul’s first letter to the Corinthian church addresses some unique issues in a church that was struggling to understand how to live out its new faith. Paul responds with clear ethical and practical instruction that can be applied to the challenges we face today in living out our faith. A study of 2nd Corinthians will follow next quarter.
Discipleship Essentials -Pastor Wenger
A continuation of the previous quarter’s lessons on the essential characteristics of a “disciple of Christ.” What does it mean to follow Christ’s example? Join us in a discussion of the costs and benefits of being a disciple and how we translate discipleship to our daily lives.
Veritas: Discovering God’s Truth - with Sue Taylor & Larry Eidemiller
A continuation of the previous quarter’s lessons.
Veritas—a Latin word that means real, true, genuine, authentic. You’re invited to join Larry Eidemiller and Sue Taylor in meeting the real, true, genuine, authentic God of the Scriptures. Each week we will delve into the Word of God and discuss various passages in depth. Scripture will be chosen in an effort to deepen our understanding of God’s expectations of us and how that relates to furthering His Kingdom. Be prepared to taste the meat of God’s Word.
Questions and Answers- Tony Strubel
Why does God allow evil to continue? Is there really a place called Hell? How can God let innocent people suffer? These are just a few questions that skeptics and Christians alike have both asked over the years. Join me and bring your own questions as we look to the Bible to find answers to these and many more questions in this discussion
