Lori served with her late husband David, and their daughter Amanda, in the country of Kazakhstan through THE MISSION SOCIETY.   The Potts began their work in Kazakhstan in 2002.  During the latter part of their first term, they lived in a village where they worked on learning the Kazakh language and taught in the areas of worship, music, and family ministries.

           David died unexpectedly in November of 2006.  He is now in the presence of the Lord he served so faithfully. 

           Lori and Amanda returned to Sergeyevka, Kazakhstan in April of 2007 to finish their committed term of service.  Lori led worship and praise each morning for a small group of nationals where English was being taught.  She and Amanda are busy packing and sorting through household items in preparation for their return to the US the end of May (07).  Lori is seeking God’s guidance in where to continue her service with THE MISSION SOCIETY after a year of furlough.
