Soup Angel Ministry
The "Soup Angels" is a ministry that was started in order to help address the issue of hunger and food insecurity in Lancaster City.
On the second Wednesday of each month the Soup Angels will serve the homeless population out of the New Creations United Methodist Church building.
Once a month the Soup Angels will also serve the residents in the Church Street Towers which are the Lancaster City Housing Authority buildings.
Second Friday
The purpose of “Second Friday” is to provide a space where community members and church members can come together to get to know other and build relationships. “Second Friday” occurs on the second Friday of each month, and will run from 6:30pm-8:30pm. A variety of activities will occur at each event, such as table games, music bingo, trivia, movie nights, and more! Food and drinks are also served at the events. Come on out to Lampeter United Methodist Church on the Second Friday of each month to meet new friends and enjoy the variety of activities!
