What Is Stephen Ministry?

Our congregation’s Stephen Ministry equips lay people to provide confidential, one-to-one Christian care to individuals in our congregation and community who are experiencing difficulties in their lives.

Stephen Ministry has been a part of LUMC since 2014. Stephen Ministers are congregation members trained by their Stephen Leaders to offer care to people who are hurting, called care receivers.
